About Us

Established in 1996, Kilmuckridge Community & Family Resource Centre is managed by a Voluntary Board of Management

Our vision statement is:

Kilmuckridge Community & Family Resource Centre operates an open door policy and creates an opportunity for people to improve the quality of their lives and their community through having their identified needs met.

The Aims of Kilmuckridge Community and Family Resourse Enterprise are:

  • To provide an affordable, accessible and quality range of childcare services to respond to the growing childcare need in the community.
  • To develop programmes, services and supports, that meet the needs of the young people, (post primary age) of Kilmuckridge and its environs.
  • To develop a community centre that will both meet the needs of the wider community and incorporate a full range of childcare services.
  • To provide opportunities and support to diverse groups living in our community, using group work methods and networking, as key tools in building our community.
  • To network with all relevant and appropriate organisations in order to share experiences and build relationships that will facilitate our development
  • To develop new programmes and supports that meet the needs of the community
